When the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic take delivery of 152 CV9035 MkIV infantry fighting vehicles from the Swedish partner BAE Systems Hägglunds, each vehicle will integrate advanced technology developed in Nová Dubnica.
EVPÚ a.s. plays a key role in this strategic programme, contributing purely technological, development-driven, and highly sophisticated solutions that strengthen the overall system capability and integration performance.

CMS-1: The Commander’s Digital Eyes
A key pillar of our participation is the CMS-1 multisensor panoramic commander’s sight. This electro-optical system integrates high-sensitivity day and night sensors, enabling the commander to detect and identify threats in all weather conditions and across any terrain.
For Slovak CV90 vehicles, it represents a technological standard that significantly enhances operational effectiveness and crew survivability.
Dedicated reconnaissance variants are additionally equipped with a modified version of the system featuring HD thermal imaging, delivering superior resolution required for deep reconnaissance missions and advanced situational awareness.

LAWAREC: Intelligent Shield and Early Warning System
The modern battlefield is defined by invisible threats. The LAWAREC system acts as the vehicle’s digital instinct – a high-precision detection solution that continuously monitors laser illumination in real time.
Once the vehicle is targeted by an enemy guidance system, LAWAREC immediately alerts the crew. Those critical seconds of early warning can determine the outcome between successful evasive manoeuvring and a potentially fatal hit, significantly enhancing survivability and situational awareness.

From Design to Production: A Unique Dozer Blade Developed by EVPÚ
Our contribution to the CV90 platform also extends into the field of advanced mechatronics. EVPÚ has taken full responsibility for the complete engineering development and production of a dozer blade for specialised CV90 variants.
This is not a standard mechanical attachment – it is a sophisticated system fully integrated into the vehicle’s control architecture.
Managing the entire lifecycle of this component – from initial design, through prototyping and testing in accordance with STANAG and MIL standards, to serial production – confirms our ability to deliver end-to-end engineering solutions at a world-class level.
