EVPÚ and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On the first day of the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, EVPÚ and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement. The partnership creates opportunities for the joint development of defence solutions, as well as for new business and export opportunities.

Building on their existing partnership, the companies will focus primarily on land combat platforms, turret systems, air defence and further research and development projects.

One of the key areas will be the integration of EVPÚ turret systems and other technologies into PGZ land platforms. The aim is to develop comprehensive solutions that can be offered not only to domestic customers, but also to armed forces in international markets.

The partners have also agreed to closer coordination in developing export opportunities. Joint business and marketing activities will support the promotion of these solutions and their introduction to selected international markets.

“This agreement is a natural continuation of our cooperation with PGZ. Each company brings its own experience and strengths to the partnership, and combining them enables us to work on more comprehensive solutions. We want to develop products that meet the needs of modern armed forces while also having real potential in international markets,”

said Michal Pavlík, President and CEO of EVPÚ a.s.

Future activities may also include the development of new solutions in the areas of air defence and Counter-UAS systems. The agreement provides a framework for joint research and development initiatives, as well as further projects that could expand the portfolios of both companies.

The strategic partnership between EVPÚ and PGZ further strengthens ties between the Slovak and Polish defence industries and creates opportunities for joint ventures in international markets.
