Our turret system will become part of Polish combat vehicles manufactured by Poland\u2019s largest defence group, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of March, we signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, the largest defence industry group in Poland. PGZ serves as the principal industrial partner of the Technical Modernisation Plan of the Polish Armed Forces, led by the Polish Ministry of National Defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVP\u00da specialises in the development and production of remote-controlled weapon stations and turret systems for land combat vehicles. On behalf of EVP\u00da, the agreement was signed by Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Michal Pavl\u00edk. Representing the Polish partner, the agreement was signed by Vice-President of the Management Board of PGZ S.A., Marcin Idzik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Polish Minister of National Defence W\u0142adys\u0142aw Kosiniak-Kamysz, a joint prototype resulting from the agreement is expected to be finalized by this summer. The Polish Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle equipped with the Slovak TURRA 30 turret could be presented as early as at the IDEB 2026 exhibition in Bratislava, scheduled for 12\u201314 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Agreement between Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and EVP\u00da a.s.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The signed agreement establishes a framework for long-term industrial cooperation, particularly in the areas of turret systems, air and missile defence, solutions for land forces, and the modernisation and future development of land platforms. Our objective is to combine the strengths of the Slovak and Polish defence industries and develop joint solutions for domestic armed forces as well as international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joint Export Ambitions: Borsuk and Rosomak with the Slovak TURRA 30 Turret<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A key topic of the discussions was the intention to jointly offer Polish armoured vehicles equipped with the Slovak combat turret to export markets. This includes the Rosomak wheeled armoured vehicle and the Borsuk tracked infantry fighting vehicle, both integrated with the remotely controlled TURRA 30 turret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept was presented to the public for the first time at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2025 in Kielce. At the event, both partners showcased the Rosomak-L prototype equipped with the TURRA 30-SA turret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the potential export markets, countries in the Middle East and Asia were highlighted, particularly Saudi Arabia and Vietnam. The integration of the Slovak TURRA 30 turret is also expected to free up production capacity for the Polish ZSSW-30 turret system, which is primarily intended for the Polish Armed Forces, with over 2,300 units planned for Borsuk and Rosomak vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joint Polish\u2013Slovak Forum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The agreement between both partners was signed on Tuesday, 3 March in Bratislava. It became a key outcome of the Polish\u2013Slovak Defence Industry Dialogue 2026 forum. The event was attended by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence W\u0142adys\u0142aw Kosiniak-Kamysz together with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Robert Kali\u0148\u00e1k. The forum brought together 30 companies and more than 100 participants from the defence industries of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum was co-organised by Defence24 in cooperation with the expert organisation European Defence Analytics. It built upon a memorandum of cooperation signed in Warsaw in February 2025 by the defence ministers of both countries. The initiative represents an important step in strengthening regional security on NATO\u2019s eastern flank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
